MiddleWeb.com is a great website for all middle school teachers to go to for different bits of information. I learned about it through my Middle School Methods class and have used it to find lesson plan and advisory group ideas. It is a collection of links and blogs that create a place for middle school teachers to go to when they need advice or ideas from other teachers across the nation. The resource page is very helpful with the links it has for advice, tips for rubrics, and many other resources a teacher can use in the classroom or for professional development.

Sarah, thanks for the nice recommendation. I'd particularly point folks to the "Of Particular Interest" page, where we list all the new resources that appear in our free biweekly e-newsletter.

We're working on a major revision of the site that will make it easier to zero in on resources. Hope to finish that by the end of 2009. Meanwhile, there's lots of good stuff and very little advertising!
